Ameena Fareeda
Ameena Fareeda was born in Washington, D.C. and currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
She graduated the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a BFA in Illustration. Her work is very colorful and graphic, as she uses a simplified and decorative stylistic approach to her illustrations. She creates works that sheds light onto AAPI and AA cultural and social experiences. She hopes her work can spark a sense of curiosity and joy into everyday life!
